Light is seeking a Sales professional to join their early team and lead go-to-market efforts. You will identify, qualify, and sign high-quality partners for embedded energy offerings on Light's platform. This role involves consultative selling, deal structuring, negotiation, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to refine market positioning and sales processes. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial builder with 7-10+ years of experience, comfortable spanning strategy and execution, and based in Austin for in-office work.

You'll work directly alongside the founders and early team to help build how Light goes to market.
Your mission is to identify, qualify, and sign high-quality partners that can launch embedded energy offerings on Light's platform. This is a highly consultative, enterprise-style sale in a novel B2B2C model where success requires equal parts judgment, curiosity, and execution.
Beyond closing deals, you'll help shape how Light grows. You'll work closely with product, engineering, and partner success to understand customer needs, refine our positioning, uncover new opportunities, and continuously improve how we sell.
