About the Role
We are looking for a Team Lead, Software Account Management based in Paris to lead a growing team of Software Account Managers while remaining strongly hands-on with key strategic accounts.
This is a player-coach role: you will be responsible for both building and scaling the Account Management function and personally driving success on a portfolio of high-value accounts, including enterprise and strategic customers. You will initially manage a team of two Software Account Managers, with the opportunity to expand the team over time.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Software Account Managers
- Drive a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Provide hands-on coaching on deal strategy, account planning, and customer engagement
- Support team members in achieving and exceeding retention, expansion, and revenue targets
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews, QBRs, and performance check-ins
- Improve forecasting accuracy and operational discipline within the team
- Collaborate closely with AEs, CSMs, and Product to align execution
Individual Contribution (Strategic Accounts)
- Own and grow a portfolio of strategic / enterprise accounts
- Identify and close expansion opportunities within key customers
- Develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level, procurement, project leadership)
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and renewal strategy
- Act as a trusted advisor to high-value customers
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in Account Management / Account Executive role
- Strong track record of managing and growing enterprise or mid-market accounts
- Previous experience in a player-coach or first-line management role
- Ability to build structure and processes in a scaling team environment
- Strong commercial mindset with hands-on experience closing deals and expansions
- Excellent coaching and leadership skills, with a focus on performance elevation
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Fluent in English and French
Compensation
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: €70,000-€95,000.
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in France. Minimums and Maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary you may be eligible for a compensation variable bonus which can range up to €40,000.

Location
