Job Title: Investment Banking Coverage – Technology, Media & Telecommunications (Deutsche Numis)

Deutsche Bank’s United Kingdom (UK) Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) team, comprised of 14 investment bankers, is a market leading UK TMT franchise, advising ~20 listed corporate clients across Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Notable FTSE 350 clients including the likes of Auto Trader, Informa, Trustpilot, Bytes and Trainline amongst others.
You will be part of the core UK TMT team within Deutsche Numis’ high performing sector coverage franchise, with additional opportunities to collaborate with colleagues across the wider Deutsche Bank platform, including the EMEA TMT team and specialist product teams.
Your responsibilities will include client coverage, valuation and analytical work, supporting on transaction execution, regulatory advice and the development of pitchbooks, working closely with the team across multiple live projects.

Your key responsibilities
- Support the team in providing strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and defence advice
- Support with M&A, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and other transaction processes within the TMT sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing other advisers
- Undertake and develop, strong technical skills including financial analysis, modelling, valuation and sector knowledge
- Coordinate and produce marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsors
- Service clients day-to-day, expressing relevant information and communicating clearly in meetings and emails; delivering solutions to clients using sector, market and product knowledge
- Engage with the broader Deutsche Numis equities platform and Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clients
Your skills and experience
- Previous relevant full-time work experience or internships / placements within Investment Banking / Corporate Finance roles preferred
- Prior experience within TMT preferable but not required
- Technical skills around financial modelling required
- Good communication skills together with interpersonal skills are key given the highly client focusing nature of the role.
- Able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
