Group Senior Financing & Bank Relations Manager

Second Foundation is a global energy trading company with around 450 employees across locations in Prague HQ (CZ), Zug (CH), Berlin (DE), Charlotte (USA), and Tokyo (JP). We specialize in power market trading and in the integration and optimization of renewable energy and battery storage systems. In parallel, we are actively expanding our own asset base, with a primary focus on battery storage. 

We are looking for a Group Senior Financing & Bank Relations Manager to lead the origination, structuring, and negotiation of financing solutions supporting the group’s growth strategy. In this role, you will be the key commercial interface with banks, debt funds, mezzanine providers, and other financing partners. You will originate, structure, and negotiate corporate and project-level financing solutions, working closely with senior leadership and internal finance, legal, and transaction teams.

What you would work on?  

• Build and manage relationships with banks, institutional lenders, debt funds, and other capital partners.
• Originate and structure corporate and project-level financing transactions, including senior debt, mezzanine, bridge financing, and refinancing.
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, covenants, security packages, and capital structure.
• Develop and review financial models, investment cases, lender materials, and bank presentations.
• Advise senior stakeholders on lender expectations, financing market conditions, and structuring options.
• Coordinate internal analytical support and ensure high-quality financing materials.
• Monitor financing markets and identify refinancing, upsizing, and new structuring opportunities.

What makes you a great candidate? 

• 8-15 years of experience in debt advisory, loan origination, structured finance, project finance, or a similar role.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, renewables, battery storage, or real assets is strongly preferred.
• Proven relationships with banks and institutional lenders.
• Experience negotiating term sheets, financing terms, and credit facility agreements.
• Strong financial modelling and commercial analysis skills.
• Experience in international, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Ability to guide junior analysts or coordinate analytical work.
• Exposure to NPL, UTP, distressed debt, or complex credit structures is an advantage.
• Fluent English required; German, Italian, Czech, or other European languages are a plus.
