UnspecifiedThe Engineering team is responsible for the structural integrity, performance, and certification support of aerospace components and systems. The department collaborates with global engineering teams to develop innovative solutions, perform advanced structural analyses, and ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Lead and manage moderately sized structural analysis projects with significant impact on organizational objectives.
- Perform advanced structural analyses for aircraft components and systems using analytical and finite element methods.
- Evaluate load paths and support airframe design activities involving metallic and composite structures.
- Conduct and review analyses related to static strength, durability (LCF and HCF), damage tolerance, EBU, actuation systems, and nacelle structures.
- Develop innovative technical solutions by researching and integrating industry best practices.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and engineering documentation to support design decisions and certification activities.
- Collaborate closely with international engineering teams and provide technical guidance to lower-level engineers.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing existing processes, tools, and systems.
- Support structural testing activities and interpret material behavior and properties for both metallic and composite materials.
- Support and conduct technical presentations (CDR and PDR).
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechatronics, Mechanic, and Aerospace.
- Minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
- Proficiency with FEM tools, including Nastran, Patran, HyperMesh, and hand calculations.
- Experience with aircraft structural components analysis, including static, durability, damage tolerance, EBU, actuation systems, and nacelle analysis.
Qualifications We Prefer
Advanced knowledge of load paths and structural behavior of metallic and composite materials.
- Strong technical writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Current travel visa to enter the United States for training and business-related events.
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive process enhancements.
- Programming experience using Python and/or Visual Basic (VB).
- Knowledge of Composite Classical Laminate Theory.
- Experience with structural testing and material characterization.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior engineers.
- Subject matter expertise in aerospace structural analysis methodologies and industry best practices.
