We are seeking a high-performing, results-driven Regional Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and East Coast regions.
This role requires a true hunter mentality, someone who thrives on banging down doors, establishing fresh industry connections, and creating robust sales pipelines from scratch. You will own the complete sales cycle, focusing primarily on identifying and securing new customers for medical waste collection and nitrogen gas supply, while also managing some ongoing account management to retain and grow high-value relationships.

Key responsibilities:
- Prospect and secure new commercial customers through cold calling, networking, and site visits.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Perform needs assessments to deliver tailored, compliant medical waste and nitrogen gas solutions.
- Manage contract negotiations, pricing, service agreements, and commercial tender submissions.
- Drive growth and renewals through regular key account performance reviews.
- Work with internal teams to ensure efficient customer onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain CRM records to track forecasting, competitors, and market trends.
You will ideally have:
- At least 3–5 years of senior experience in business development or consultative sales in a service industry.
- Bachelor of Commerce or similar qualification for high-level strategic discussions.
- History of successful revenue generation, contract negotiation, and profit growth.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build deep relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated and resilient with excellent time management and adaptability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google apps.
