What You Will Do
An aircraft mechanic maintains the engines of aircrafts to meet FAA standards. This job involves tasks such as performing routine checks and repairs, keeping records of inventory, and identifying faults with components of the plane.
This is a 1st shift opportunity
Responsibilities
- Engine disassembly/assembly - Perform mechanic duties to disassemble and assemble engines, engine modules and accessories.
- Clean - Perform cleaning of engine parts and components.
- Perform visual checks to assess minimal part condition for continued use where applicable. Understand the basic inspection techniques as a part of a career development path.
- Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training, and supporting all applicable committee activities.
- Ability to manage tools and tooling to ensure serviceability before and after use and process appropriately when issues arise.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED

Qualifications We Prefer
- A&P License or two years aviation, aerospace and/or previous mechanical experience.
- Turbine engine overhaul, and repair experience preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Assembly.
- SAP familiarity
- Experience Microsoft Office
