Baba is seeking a remote Physician (MD/DO) for a 1099 contractor role to conduct telehealth intake consultations. The physician will perform structured visits to establish medical necessity for care navigation programs, identify high-risk conditions, and confirm eligibility. Responsibilities include documenting findings, validating care plans, and collaborating with care advocates and clinical operations. The role requires proficiency with EMRs, care management platforms, and telehealth workflows, along with familiarity with Medicare programs and SDOH documentation. A U.S. medical license and experience in primary care, telehealth, or care management are necessary. Broad multistate licensure is strongly preferred.

As a Physician conducting Intake Consultations at Baba, you’ll perform brief, structured telehealth visits that establish medical necessity for our care navigation programs. These intake visits are the cornerstone of Baba’s service— identifying high-risk conditions, unmet social needs, and confirming eligibility for ongoing care navigation services.
You’ll work with our care advocates and clinical operations team to ensure patients are enrolled safely, compliantly, and compassionately into the right level of support. This is a remote, 1099 (contractor) position, suitable for physicians seeking flexible, high-impact telehealth work.
