Job Objectives
The mission of the Business Controller comprises 3 main roles:
- Multi-Entity Business Controlling: Deliver end-to-end financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, performance tracking, and internal control compliance for multiple entities.
- Drive Financial Innovation & transversal projects within the region: by developing digital tools, support AI adoption and fostering technological awareness across the finance function in AME region and as focal point for the East side of Airbus countries.
- Regional Controlling of International dpt: Provide strategic financial support, business partnership, and strict budget monitoring for the International / Business Growth department.
Primary responsibilities
1. Entity Controlling
- Accountable for establishing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in close coordination with local,regional stakeholders and central finance.
- Cash monitoring and driving the quarterly billing process to ensure accurate and timely invoicing across entities.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, investigating variances and providing actionable recommendations to Management.
- Secure the Internal Control framework by managing the MRC requirements and providing robust support to the Second Line testing.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and escalate potential financial or operational risks by establishing a robust early-warning risk assessment
2. Drive Financial Innovation & transversal projects
- Drive projects dedicated to the transformation, simplification, and digitalization of financial processes across the region.
- Lead the development and implementation of new digital financial tools and finance projects.
- Act as a champion for Artificial Intelligence (AI): Drive AI development initiatives within finance and proactively share awareness, best practices, and training around AI / Gemini.
- Audit existing finance processes to identify non-optimized ways of working and design automated solutions to optimize reporting efficiency.
3. Regional Controlling of International dpt
- Provide strong business partnering and decision support to the International / Business Growth department.
- Manage budget adherence within the region, track operational expenses, and build business cases to support business growth.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with central finance teams in Europe to align regional transformation projects with global Airbus standards.
- Perform other corporate, financial, or ad-hoc analysis and workshop preparations as required and assigned by the manager.
- Support and drive regional ad-hoc initiatives, including the development of Business Cases and active participation in transversal projects within the region.
General
- Ensure all financial reportings are performed accurately, compliantly, and on a timely basis.
- Ensure all regional operations adhere to Airbus Group policies and act as a gatekeeper to guarantee internal controls are strictly in place.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inspiring work environment within the Dubai office.
- Stay well-informed and familiar with the latest financial regulations and digital trends.

Professional skills
- Proven experience in Finance Transformation projects, digital tool deployment, or automation initiatives.
- Solid background in Business Controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control
- Expert in Financial Systems and Digital solutions (SAP, Google Suite Workspace, advance level in GSheets and Gemini).
- Finance, Data/Business Analytics Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Corporate Controlling, Audit, or Finance Transformation.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multi-cultural, and dynamic environment with a high capacity to adapt to change
