The Software Engineer II is responsible for the full lifecycle of software design, development, testing, and support for SICK products and platforms. This role independently drives technical execution, enhances software performance, and contributes to the company's software ecosystem. Collaborating with global, cross-functional teams, the engineer delivers high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions, aligning with the company's technology vision. Key responsibilities include independent software development, leading enhancements and maintenance, prototype development, and conducting comprehensive testing. The role also involves meticulous code reviews, debugging complex issues, and clear communication of technical decisions to stakeholders.
This position will be located at our Bloomington, MN or Canton, MA office.

The base salary is one part of our Total Rewards package and is determined within a range. The starting base salary range for this position is listed below; the actual starting salary will be based on a variety of factors including experience, skill set, education, performance, licenses/certifications, business needs and other job-related factors, as permitted by law.
