Deloitte is seeking a Chief of Staff to join the Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SRT) leadership team, ideally based in Sydney. This role partners closely with the Business Unit Leader and Executive team to translate strategy into action, drive key business priorities, and act as a trusted advisor. Responsibilities include shaping strategic initiatives, providing analysis, influencing outcomes, managing stakeholders, coordinating leadership forums, and resolving operational challenges. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and executive-level stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business strategy into measurable commercial outcomes. Experience as a Chief of Staff is preferable.
Ideally based in Sydney, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to join the Strategy, Risk & Transactions Leadership team, with flexibility on location for the right candidate.
This role sits at the heart of the Business Unit, partnering closely with the Business Unit Leader (BUL) and Executive team to translate strategy into action and drive the successful delivery of key business priorities. As a trusted advisor, you will help shape strategic initiatives, provide insight and analysis to support decision-making, and work across the business to influence outcomes, manage stakeholders and ensure momentum on critical programs and transformation activities.
No two days will be the same. You will coordinate leadership forums and governance activities, manage communications and engagement initiatives, support the resolution of operational and organisational challenges, and build strong relationships with senior leaders across the business and firm nationally.
Acting as an extension of the BUL, you will help keep the business aligned, connected and focused on delivering its strategic objectives while ensuring key decisions, actions and opportunities are effectively progressed. Given the role and stakeholders, you will act with professionalism and integrity, managing sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
