Job Description
Battery Cell Assembly Engineer
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Global Technical Center – Research Administration Building in Warren, Michigan on a full-time basis, 5 days per week.
The Role
As a Battery Cell Assembly Engineer, you will contribute to R&D initiatives within GM’s Battery Process Research and Innovation, with a focus on the cell assembly operational process and cross functionally helping the team to better advance next-generation technologies in battery chemistry, cell architecture, and system integration. This includes learning and supporting the full cell fabrication process.
This role will support translating fundamental research into scalable solutions that improve performance, safety, cost, and improve reliability.
