Archdale Animal Hospital is seeking a reliable, hardworking Kennel Assistant to support our veterinary and boarding team. This is a critical, hands-on role where your attention to detail and compassion directly impact the well-being of every pet in our care.

- Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets, including feeding, watering, and monitoring
- Maintain clean, sanitized, and organized kennels, cages, and treatment areas
- Safely handle and restrain pets with a focus on low-stress, compassionate care
- Walk, bathe, and provide enrichment to support pets’ physical and emotional well-being
- Observe and report changes in behavior, appetite, or health status to the veterinary team
- Support the hospital team with patient preparation, cleaning protocols, and general upkeep
- Manage laundry, dishes, and facility cleanliness to ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Assist in creating a welcoming, calm atmosphere for both pets and their owners
- Previous animal care experience strongly preferred (kennel, boarding, daycare, or veterinary setting)
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and efficiency
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and staying active throughout the shift
- Ability to recognize signs of stress, illness, or discomfort in animals
- Positive attitude with a team-first mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced veterinary environment
