Crunchyroll is seeking an Engineering Manager for its VideoIQ team to lead and grow a team of data science and engineering professionals. This role will own the delivery and operationalization of analytics, observability, dashboards, anomaly detection, forecasting, and AI-driven insights. The successful candidate will foster a culture of operational excellence, engineering quality, and effective delivery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive projects and the technology roadmap. This position requires 5+ years of industry experience and 2+ years of leadership experience, with hands-on experience in multiple code stacks.

In the role of Engineering Manager, you will report to the Director of Video Players.
As the Engineering Manager for the VideoIQ team, you will own the delivery and operationalization of our analytics, observability, dashboards, anomaly detection, forecasting, and AI-driven insights, ensuring a data-driven approach independent of specific implementations. You will lead and grow a team of skilled engineers while advocating for our core values of operational excellence, engineering quality, and effective delivery. You will establish relationships across Engineering, Program Management, and Product to drive projects and to help deliver our technology roadmap. You will join an international team of 100+ client engineers and leaders that have helped establish Crunchyroll as the leader in its space.
