Description
Brief Outline of Job:
Responsible for the administration, Visual merchandising and Store Interior projects
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative duties in VM and implement new procedures to store staffs.
- Manage and coordinate POS orders and other materials for stores and regional VMs.
- Manage Sale set up and ordering appropriate materials.
- Manage the overall VM budget.
- Manage travelling the stores and overseas.
- Plan and coordinate weekly and monthly store visits.
- Execute VM guidelines including seasonal floor sets, product updates and product styling and presentations in-store.
- Work with the regional markets to communicate best practice from the HQ
- Present and create imaginative and effective visual merchandising stories that are in line with the seasonal design & commercial needs of the business.
- Communication between regional showrooms and internal departments to make sure consistency with brand guidelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external contractors and internal colleagues to ensure high quality and efficient results.
- Work on a structured VM calendar based on seasonal changes, merchandise delivery drops and press/marketing installations events.
- Assist with in store events set up;
- Arrange the production schedule and set up VP pop up at departments stores.
- Manage new store openings VM display.
- Manage and create VM training materials and ensure standards are adhered to
- Align with the central VM team and share the monthly reports.
- Attend trade meetings and calls as required and take notes as appropriate
- Manage changing the seasonal campaign artwork and video reel in-store.
- Manage the window production and ensure to change at every season.
- Liaising with window suppliers to create prototypes, mock-ups and final product.
MKT
- In collaboration with Marketing and Image teams, design and create schemes, maintaining brand consistency
- In partnership with the Press Team manage the movement of samples and product across the business as required
- Report to the monthly/weekly PR report.
- Manage the seasonal sample lists with PR agency.
- Liaise with the central Marketing and Image team; OOH, store requests & campaign image as per department stores.
Events and Special Projects (Collaboration with MKT)
- Collaborate with production companies and suppliers to manage the build and implementation process, from design to completion of key events and productions
- Work across brand and (in-store) retail events
- Manage the logistics of Event build and Mulberry sample collection (or any other brand collateral) movement as required
- Create, develop and produce any requested guidelines and training manuals accordingly for events and installs
- Be able to communicate with suppliers on orders for events and managing budgets
- Support the brand and the team with installations, regional events
- Create POP align with seasonal event; New arrival & Season-off
Store Interior projects and Management
- Manage new store interior projects; renewal / relocation
- Coordinate between local interior and UK interior team for any proposal and plan ahead.
- Manage the overall Interior budget
- Ensure store maintenance without any issue in terms of Interior; repair and fix.
- Liaise with the central Interior team and the contractors.
- Manage Interior goods order both overseas and local and ensure them to meet the production deadline.
- Manage local and overseas logistic and invoices paperwork.
- Report and share the work schedule to HQ
- Manage the interior sample finishes.
Logistics
- Manage the order placing: window props and interior materials finish
- Working with custom agency and fright partner forwarder to manage the schedule
- Manage the logistic control with suppliers to set-up window installs
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers and manage document invoices
- Communication with the interior fixtures/ props’ contractors
- Manage delivering without any issues: custom clearance process/ shipment
- Invoice paperwork /packing list/ UPS
- Packing and deliver VM fixtures/props /POP to stores
