McGill University is seeking a Technical Specialist – Assistant Coach for Redbirds Hockey. This part-time role involves assisting the head coach in developing student-athletes, implementing performance initiatives, and managing team logistics. Responsibilities include designing development plans, video analysis, maintaining equipment, tracking statistics, analyzing game data, and supporting administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior coaching experience at an elite level, relevant certifications, and strong knowledge of hockey. Bilingualism in French and English is required. This position is based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Men's Hockey - Head Coach, the technical specialist will be expected to assist the head coach in the implementation of performance and development initiatives that will help ensure the success of the hockey student-athletes. Expected to assist head coach with other related functions.

***Expected to complete mandatory training/course including Safe Sport and CCES Anti-Doping
***Selected candidate must successfully pass their criminal background check.
