BJAK is seeking an Applied AI Engineer in Taiwan to build AI-native systems for their finance super app. This role involves applying AI to automate workflows in areas like customer support, CRM, and operations, and integrating with LLMs and internal data. The ideal candidate has a strong software engineering background (Python preferred), hands-on LLM API experience, and the ability to ship practical AI systems. This is a hybrid role based in Taipei, requiring at least 3 days in the office per week, with English as the primary working language.

We are looking for applied AI engineers to build AI-native systems for BJAK's finance super app.
This is not a research-only role. We need builders who can use AI to automate real workflows, improve products, reduce manual work and make financial services easier for users and teams.
This role is based in Taiwan. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Taiwan office at least 3 days per week.
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
Our process is designed to move fast:
1. Online assessment or practical task
2. Technical interview
3. CEO / final round
For strong candidates, we aim to complete the process and make an offer within 1 week from the start of the interview process. Candidates who complete assessments quickly will be prioritized.
