We are seeking an experienced **Aftermarket Sales Consultant** to support the growth of the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) by improving dealer performance, strengthening relationships with independent repairers (IRs) and garage chains, and enhancing the adoption of digital ordering and workshop systems. The role is field‑driven and focuses on structured visits, assessments, capability development, and targeted commercial activation.
Key responsibilities:
Dealer Visits & Performance Enhancement
- Conduct standardized onsite visits with authorized dealers to review IAM parts performance, product portfolio depth, competitiveness, and sales execution.
- Identify improvement opportunities in processes, stock strategies, customer service, and adoption of digital ordering platforms.
- Provide structured feedback, capture visit outcomes, and define actionable next steps.
Dealer Assessments & Improvement Plans
- Run comprehensive dealer assessments measuring operational quality, commercial maturity, and adherence to IAM principles.
- Perform audits, scorecards, and performance comparisons to identify strengths and gaps.
- Create clear improvement plans with KPIs, responsibilities, and timelines.
Dealer Coaching
- Deliver targeted coaching programs designed to uplift dealer performance—especially new partners or dealers showing performance gaps.
- Train dealer staff on sales processes, product knowledge, pricing logic, and system usage.
- Provide structured follow‑up and progress reporting.
Individual Dealer Development Initiatives
- Build customized development plans for selected focus dealers, covering customer segmentation, pricing strategy, potential analysis, ordering process optimization, and communication workflows.
- Establish monthly targets and track progress through structured reporting.
Customer Visits (IRs & Garage Chains)
- Conduct onsite visits to IRs and garage chains to promote product awareness, strengthen relationships, and expand parts sales.
- Provide hands‑on support for online ordering platforms and workshop systems.
- Document visit results and define improvement initiatives.
Customer Assessments & Action Plans
- Evaluate the turnover potential and engagement level of IRs and garage chains.
- Identify commercial opportunities and develop improvement plans based on market need.
- Upload structured assessments and follow‑ups into the required systems.
Essential Requirements :
- 5+ years in automotive aftermarket sales, field force, network development, or workshop consulting.
- Understanding of dealer operations, workshop processes, and B2B parts distribution.
- Strong skills in coaching, performance assessment, and relationship‑building.
- Ability to interpret KPIs, market data, and customer behavior patterns.
- Comfort working in structured, report‑driven environments.
