The Opportunity:
CHP Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging — including annual TB screening — across multiple San Diego County detention facilities: San Diego Central Jail (SDCJ), George Bailey Detention Facility (GBDF), Rock Mountain Detention Facility (RMDF), and South Bay Detention Facility (SBDF).
This is a multi-site float role: you'll rotate between facilities on a set weekly schedule (weekend coverage included) under the direction of the Radiology Manager, adapting to each site's security procedures and workflows while keeping imaging services on track with County contract requirements.
What You'll Do
Perform and document radiological testing (including annual TB screening) at each assigned facility, manage the radiology schedule across sites, maintain equipment and supplies, keep records HIPAA-compliant in the EHR, and work closely with each facility's HSA, DON, and site leadership to keep imaging services running smoothly and in compliance with state, accreditation, and County contract standards.
