The opportunity with us as a Senior Surveyor 

Driven by continuous success and growth, we are looking for a surveyor to join our high-performing Sydney team. Reporting to the NSW Survey Manager, you’ll join a team delivering complex, large-scale survey projects across construction, infrastructure and renewables sectors for government and major private clients throughout NSW and interstate.  

Our work leverages advanced capture technologies including terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, UAV photogrammetry and hydrographic survey. The role offers a mix of field and office work, where you’ll apply your technical skills to deliver accurate and timely survey outcomes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values professionalism, safety and quality. As part of your journey with Woolpert, you’ll also have opportunities to gain exposure to other facets of the business to support your career development. 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • 5+ years’ surveying experience.
  • AutoCAD or similar experience is a must have.
  • Experience using Leica instruments highly regarded.
  • Exposure to 12d Model/12d Field highly regarded.
  • A motivated surveyor who enjoys variety in their work—both in the field and the office.
  • A detail-oriented professional with experience across civil, construction, land development and infrastructure projects.
  • A clear communicator who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes to clients and colleagues.
  • A safety-conscious team member who embraces environmentally sustainable work practices.
  • An organised individual to provide administrative information such as QA records, timesheets and project documentation.
  • Someone who’s confident contributing to tenders, quotations and client discussions.

 With this role, the successful candidate must successfully pass pre-employment police background check and drug testing as a condition of employment.
