NVIDIA is seeking Senior Platform Safety Analysis Engineers for its Autonomous Vehicles division. This role focuses on the functional safety of the HALOs compute and communications platform, involving AI-based systems and hardware. Responsibilities include analyzing hardware fault metrics, developing automation for system analysis, interpreting safety documentation, and ensuring integration of system, software, and hardware safety methodologies. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years of experience in systems architecture, with a strong background in embedded systems safety analysis, qualitative/quantitative methods (FTA, FMEA, FMEDA), and relevant safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO/PAS 21448). Experience with HW SOC, board-level, or automotive ECU architecture is highly valued.
NVIDIA – “the AI computing company” is developing a ground-breaking AI-based full stack for autonomous transportation and base platform to support it. This requires a ground-breaking approach to functional safety in the underlying HALOs platform, including scheduling and management of synchronization and diverse HW compute engines, full platform error reporting and degradation, system state management and fail-operational features.
We are seeking outstanding engineers to lead efforts developing the next generation of safe, AI-powered autonomous driving platforms. The focus is on functional safety of the underlying compute and communications platform on which NVIDIA's autonomous products are built. Do you have a desire to work at the confluence of NVIDIA's application stack and the OEM vehicle platforms?
