SMRT Trains is seeking an Assistant Engineer for Network Facilities A&A in Singapore. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety and SMRT requirements in MRT stations and depots, leading a team of Technical Officers, and supporting various projects including A&A works, testing, commissioning, and handover of systems. The position requires efficient daily task planning, conducting safety talks, and ensuring contractors work safely. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Engineering, experience in M&E/C&S operations and maintenance, and be willing to perform shift work.

To ensure compliance with safety and SMRT requirements in our MRT stations and depots. To lead a team of TOs.
•To ensure daily task for each TO is planned efficiently.
•To conduct and ensure that weekly Safety Protected Time (SPT) talks are carried out and team members e-submit their Weekly Protected Time attendances.
•To ensure contractors carry out their works in a safe manner and to feedback the daily activities carried out at sites.
•To support the following works:
•LTA / Developer A&A Projects, ad-hoc safety assurance checks, testing & commissioning (T&C), defects punchlisting and handover / takeover of B&F (EMF, ECS and E&L) systems and structures with IFM.
•Provide access to respective rooms for LTA / contractors to conduct site surveys.
•For E&L - commercial contractors erecting scaffoldings on / near escalators to remove/install media posters/stickers on walls above escalators.
•To complete and file the necessary paperwork e.g. checklists, Project T&C checklists etc.
•To perform any other appropriate tasks as & when assigned.
• Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical and Electrical engineering.
• Prior experiences in operation & maintenance of M&E/C&S.
• Able to perform shift works and working on weekends / public holidays.
• Possess Class 3 driving licence is a plus.
• Able to communicate effectively and good listening skill.
• A good team player.
