Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Restorative Dentist to join our leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide advanced restorative dental care, managing complex cases involving tooth restoration, aesthetics, function, and oral rehabilitation. This role requires exceptional clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered dental care using modern techniques and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, plan, and provide comprehensive restorative dental treatments for complex cases.
- Develop customized treatment plans addressing functional, aesthetic, and oral health needs.
- Perform advanced restorative procedures, including complex fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, onlays, and full-mouth rehabilitation.
- Manage complex cases involving worn dentition, occlusal disorders, trauma, and extensive tooth loss.
- Provide aesthetic and cosmetic restorative treatments while maintaining optimal oral function.
- Perform comprehensive examinations, treatment planning, and case presentations to patients.
- Collaborate with prosthodontists, periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons, and dental laboratory professionals to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Evaluate and manage patients requiring multidisciplinary dental rehabilitation.
- Provide expert guidance on restorative materials, techniques, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation using electronic dental records.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and clinical quality standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior dentists and contribute to clinical education and knowledge sharing when required.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in restorative dentistry and dental technology.
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD), Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), or equivalent recognized dental qualification.
- Completion of advanced postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry, Operative Dentistry, or a related specialty.
- Board Certification, Fellowship, Master’s degree, or equivalent specialist qualification in Restorative Dentistry is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of post-specialty clinical experience in restorative dentistry.
- Extensive experience in complex restorative procedures and comprehensive treatment planning.
- Strong expertise in aesthetic dentistry, full-mouth rehabilitation, and advanced restorative techniques.
- Experience with digital dentistry, CAD/CAM technology, and modern restorative workflows is an advantage.
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with patients and multidisciplinary dental teams.
- Ability to manage complex cases with a high level of precision and professionalism.
