Accountant

Our team of 400 professionals specializes in power trading, transforming complex data into market-leading trading strategies through advanced technology and sophisticated quantitative modelling. 

We are currently seeking an Accountant to support outsourced accounting operations for our entities in Germany. In this role, you will cooperate with external accounting providers, contributing to smooth coordination of accounting activities across multiple entities, and ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial reporting and monthly closings.  

What would you work on? 

• Support and coordinate outsourced accounting activities for assigned legal entities in Germany.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting deliverables with external accounting providers.
• Review general ledger postings and ensure accounting accuracy and compliance.
• Act as point of contact for external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Ensure compliance with German statutory requirements as well as internal group policies and processes.
• Support process improvements and help maintain efficient cooperation across finance stakeholders.

What makes you a great candidate? 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in an international environment or with outsourced accounting structures.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Experience with coordinating external accounting providers or multiple legal entities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and Czech language; German is considered a plus.
