About our role: 

Displayed pay range (base salary) is a guide and local market specific. The pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on the type of internship (mandatory/voluntary) and stage of studies: EUR 1.000 – EUR 2.268

The Intern E-Commerce DACH/CH provides temporary hands-on support to the eCommerce team during the planned organizational scope extension from July onwards, including the integration of Switzerland into the DACH eCommerce responsibility. The role supports reporting, customer overviews, assortment and content tracking, digital shelf checks, campaign follow-up and internal coordination. By adding pragmatic executional capacity, the role helps safeguard execution quality across the existing DACH agenda and the additional Switzerland eCommerce Net Sales scope of approximately 3.0 million EUR.

This is a 6‑month, full‑time internship based in Darmstadt, with a start date as soon as possible.

What you will do: 

  • Switzerland eCommerce Integration Support – 25%
    • Build and maintain customer, assortment and status overviews for the Switzerland eCommerce integration.
    • Support mapping of existing customer structures, product listings, commercial priorities and reporting routines.
    • Help prepare transition trackers, meeting documents and follow-up lists to ensure a smooth handover into the DACH responsibility.
  • Performance Reporting and Business Tracking – 20%
    • Prepare weekly and monthly performance updates across key DACH eCommerce customers.
    • Support tracking of Net Sales, Business Profit, sell-out, availability, pricing, traffic, conversion, hero product performance and campaign results.
    • Highlight basic trends, gaps and risks for follow-up by the eCommerce team.
  • Digital Shelf, Content, PIM and SEO Support – 20%
    • Conduct regular content and digital shelf checks across customer platforms, including titles, images, descriptions, attributes and brand presentation.
    • Support content, PIM and SEO update processes together with channel, brand and customer teams.
    • Help ensure a consistent, premium and search-relevant brand presence across DACH/CH eCommerce customers.
  • Campaign and Retail Media Tracking – 15%
    • Support preparation, tracking and post-campaign reporting for eCommerce activations, retail media campaigns and product launches.
    • Coordinate basic asset, copy, timing and performance tracking requirements with internal teams and agencies.
    • Assist in documenting learnings and next-step recommendations after campaign completion.
  • Internal Coordination and Process Support – 15%
    • Prepare meeting documents, customer updates, follow-up trackers and internal alignment materials.
    • Support coordination with sales, marketing, supply chain, customer service, agencies and external partners on operational topics.
    • Maintain trackers and documentation to improve transparency and execution quality.
  • Administrative Support – 5%
    • Support budget trackers, approval workflows, product lists and other administrative processes linked to eCommerce execution.
    • Ensure clean documentation and timely follow-up on assigned operational tasks.

What you will need: 

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor or Master degree in business administration, marketing, eCommerce, digital business, communication, economics or a similar field.
  • German and English spoken and written fluently.
  • First internship, student job or project experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, sales, online retail, data analysis or category management is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of online retail, digital shelf, content management, performance tracking and commercial key performance indicators is helpful.
  • Strong interest in beauty, professional hair care, digital commerce, marketplaces and social commerce.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with dashboards, product information systems or marketplace tools is a plus.
  • Structured, reliable and detail-oriented working style with high execution accuracy.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to translate data into simple business observations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across sales, marketing, supply chain, agencies and customer teams.
  • Proactive, hands-on and comfortable managing several operational tasks in parallel.
