Raytheon’s Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost, schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products. 

What You Will Do

  • Function as a Obsolescence Hardware Team Lead on a missile production program
  • Provide technical oversight/mentorship over staff of up to 3 Engineers. Focus placed on engineering task execution, technical rigor, mentorship and training, etc.
  • Coordinate with Tech Leads and PMs for cross team collaboration and priority alignment.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
  • Travel Requirements: less than 25% annually
  • Shift Information: 1st shift

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience
  • Production engineering experience relating to design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting of missile hardware
  • Familiarity with obsolescence mitigation process and activities
  • Experience with systematic problem solving and RCCA
  • Familiarity with RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing

Qualifications We Prefer

  • MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Equivalent.
  • Production process knowledge, manufacturing techniques, system integration, production testing.
  • Experience with Software/Firmware languages; Python, C, Basis, Java, VHDL, Verilog.
  • Demonstrated effective organization, emotional intelligence, personal task and time management skills, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.  Self-starter who can work independently.
  • Systems thinking, strong problem solving in alignment with the Office of the Chief Engineer.
  • Experience with subsystems integration and test, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods, production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentations, and implementing Engineering Change processes.
  • Leadership of technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support.
  • Practical experience in all phases of the product development lifecycle.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
