JOB DESCRIPTION – BIDS AND SALES OPERATIONS MANAGER

Contract Terms: 12-month Fixed Term, 38 hours per week
THE TEAM
The Sales & Business Development team are key to maintaining strong and connected client relationships and play a critical role in the retention & growth of the Ticketmaster business.
THE JOB
The Bids and Sales Operations Manager is responsible for the preparation and presentation of tenders and proposals to ensure that Ticketmaster wins and maintains contracts for ticketing services for new and existing clients.
This role is the key point of contact for the Business Development, Marketing=and Support and Operations teams for all tender proposals.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Lead the project management of all tender documents including writing and editing proposal documents ensuring they are of a consistent high quality.
Support the creation, implementation and management of engaging sales decks, presentations, and other marketing materials to help relate our products and services to multiple stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement in tender processes, content management, AI-assisted proposal development and sales enablement tools
Support strategic business development activities by identifying competitive differentiators, value propositions and commercial opportunities within bids and client presentations.
Tailor and translate internal resource materials with ongoing communications to the sales team.
Develop key value adds and points of differentiation for Ticketmaster tenders and proposals.
Liaise and coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information for tender and proposal preparation.
Assist in the identification of new business opportunities.
Liaise with Marketing team on design efforts for all proposals and presentations.
Advise executive managers on appropriate tender/proposal strategies.
Prepare formal tender and proposal presentations for new and existing clients.
Where necessary, coordinate responses to requests for further information.
Maintain appropriate files and registers of tenders and proposals including the quality and accuracy of information within the Salesforce database.
Provide feedback to the executive team on Ticketmaster’s market competitiveness from insights gained in tender preparation and presentation.
Support the Commercial team through regular reporting on OKRs and business performance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Extensive and demonstrated experience in successful tender preparation for both government and non-government entities.
Marketing, Business Management or Project Management related degree.
Creative approach and a genuine enthusiasm for writing high quality tenders.
Track record of managing impactful business projects, applying strategic insight and aligning with organizational goals
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain close working relationships with relevant stakeholders
Well-developed interpersonal skills and communication with an aim to grow team dynamics
YOU (BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS)
Research/Analytical - Business Management or Marketing degree required. Maintain up to date knowledge of industry developments incorporating marketing and technological advances, both internally and externally. Proven analytical mind and problem-solving ability. Proven experience in the maintenance of monthly and annual budgets. Strong Tender and Contract knowledge. Well-developed attention to detail.
Customer Focus - Strong commitment to the provision of service excellence. Ensuring Ticketmaster’s internal customers’ needs are continually met. Demonstrated track record in addressing complex issues and balancing internal stakeholder involvement.
Communication - Demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Strong ability to communicate with clarity and confidence business developments. Effective listening skills are also paramount. Highly developed negotiation and interpersonal skills. Ability to confidently present materials in an open forum.
Initiative - Possessions of “natural energy” with a proactive focus responding quickly and positively to ensure that business deadlines and needs are met.
Flexibility - Demonstrated ability to accommodate and adapt to changing needs of the business in a highly pressured working environment. At the same time, proven ability to adhere to set guidelines and process adherence. Deal with high level complaints and recognise the need for flexibility where applicable. Highly developed negotiation skills.
Computer literacy - I.T. literacy essential - Windows Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) Familiarity and aptitude with a significant number of different ticketing systems, products and websites/apps including current database management systems and Ticketmaster programs and reports. Typing skills with high accuracy
Proven skills in working with Salesforce or understanding of working with a business development CRM tool.
Numerical Literacy - Proven experience in the maintenance of monthly and annual budgets.
Able to travel to office minimum 3 days a week
