Neo Group is seeking a PHP Developer for its local partner, a company focused on innovative, data-driven solutions. The role involves developing and maintaining backend applications using PHP (Laravel), designing REST APIs and WebSocket services, and integrating with external systems. Responsibilities include writing unit tests, troubleshooting performance issues, and collaborating with a development team using Git (GitLab). The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience, strong expertise in PHP and Laravel, experience with messaging queues like Kafka/RabbitMQ, and database optimization skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL).

We are on the lookout for a PHP Developerto join our IT Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using PHP (Laravel).
- Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket services.
- Integrate with external services and internal microservices.
- Create and maintain Laravel database migrations.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best development practices.
- Use Git (GitLab) for version control and collaborate within a development team.
- Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts to deliver new features and maintain existing functionality.
• 3+ years of commercial development experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP (experience with PHP 7.4+, Laravel).
• Strong expertise in Kafka/RabbitMQ multi-node consuming/producing.
• Strong DB query building/optimization expirience (MySQL 5.7+, PostgreSQL 16.8 +).
• Experience with REST API / WebSocket.
• Experience writing and maintaining Laravel unit tests.
• Experience writing Laravel DB migrations.
• Confident knowledge of working with Git (Gitlab).
Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills..
• Capability to work under deadlines effectively.
