Andercore is seeking a Director of Data (BI & Analytics) to lead and develop its data functions, focusing on transforming operational signals into real-time intelligence. This front-line leadership role involves owning data models, pipelines, and metrics, and developing AI-assisted systems. The director will partner with Growth, Operations, and Product teams to leverage data as a competitive advantage, manage daily dashboards and forecasts, and contribute to the management leadership team. Key responsibilities include building the data backbone, operationalizing insights, developing AI workflows, elevating reporting, defining KPIs, coaching a data team, and ensuring data quality. Success involves aligning KPIs, automating dashboards, achieving high forecast accuracy, embedding AI copilots, automating manual tasks, and maintaining a production-grade data stack.
Andercore is the AI-native supplier of industrial materials for energy, infrastructure, and construction in wholesale and beyond.
We trade with global suppliers and distribute to European customers on our own account. Our AI runs the full trade and distribution end-to-end: sourcing, quality, pricing, sales, logistics, and embedded financing. For the customer, it feels like buying from their preferred local supplier; for our partners, it is the most convenient and safe way to do business across borders. Behind it, our software and agentic AI do the heavy lifting that used to take an asset-intensive supply chain with four or five intermediaries and weeks of manual coordination.
Where we are today:
$40M Series B just closed, $75M raised to date from Atomico, Project A, and Inven Capital, institutional financing from international banks.
We are building the world's first and last industrial-grade AI operating system for materials, redefining how global trade works in one of the largest and most essential industries on earth.
You will lead and further develop the Data functions, specifically the engine that turns raw operational signals into real-time intelligence for Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Finance.
This is not a back-office analytics role, it’s a front-line leadership role. You’ll own our data models, pipelines, and metrics - and develop AI-assisted systems that anticipate what happens next: which deal closes, which lane fails, which customer churns, which supplier delays, and how all our Agentic AI performs.
You’ll partner closely with Growth, Operations, and Product to turn data into a competitive advantage - running the daily rhythm of dashboards, forecasts, and decisions that move millions in GMV each week.
As part of our management leadership team, you will have a pathway to multi-region oversight, a highly competitive compensation package with performance-based incentives, and the opportunity to shape a high-performance organization from our Berlin headquarters, backed by top-tier investors.
We are an equal-opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic. We believe that diversity drives innovation, creativity, and collective strength.
