Description

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to support the credentialing, recredentialing, and privileging process for our health care providers. This position plays an important role in maintaining compliance with complex regulatory standards, payer requirements, and health care compliance processes, including NCQA, CMS, The Joint Commission, and AAAHC standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent organization, and the ability to manage highly accurate, audit-ready provider files while partnering with hospitals, surgery centers, health plans, and internal teams. This is a hybrid position and requires residency in Washington or Oregon, with the availability to come into the office as needed.

Location: Off-site work must live in Portland, Oregon or Vancouver, Washington area (must be able to attend once a month training on site)*

Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm

Hiring range generally between $28.02/hour to $33.58/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
  • 3+ years of credentialing experience in a clinic system, hospital, or health plan setting with responsibility for credentialing, hospital appointment and privileging, private and government health plan enrollment - REQUIRED.
  • Experience with NCQA and AAAHC guidelines – REQUIRED.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) preferred.

Additional details: *Credentialing Coordinator works off-site and requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).

Pay Range:

$27.47 - $38.46
