Tetra Pak is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and develop PLC-based software solutions for advanced production equipment. This role involves programming and maintaining solutions using Siemens S7 TIA Portal and Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation, improving existing software platforms, and testing software functionality. The engineer will collaborate with global teams, support commissioning, and contribute to technical documentation. Requires 1-2 years of experience as an Engineer, with good knowledge of process control, standards, guidelines, tools, and methods for Automation design, including Functional Safety, Motion Control, Mechatronics, and Industrial Networks.

As an Automation Engineer, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering cutting-edge automation solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
🚀 Designing and developing PLC-based software solutions for advanced production equipment
⚙️ Programming and maintaining solutions using technologies such as:
🔄 Improving existing software platforms and managing software versions
✅ Testing, verifying, and validating software functionality
🤝 Collaborating closely with mechanical, electrical, and product specialists
🌍 Working with colleagues and customers across our global organization
🔧 Supporting commissioning and troubleshooting both remotely and on-site
📚 Contributing to technical documentation and user manuals
🛡️ Applying knowledge of:
💡 Staying ahead of the latest trends in industrial automation and digitalization
1-2 years (Full time) as Engineer or similar depending on background education. Demonstrate technical skills, understanding in installation needs and customer operations at site. Demonstrate understanding of process control Good knowledge of necessary standards, guidelines, tools and methods for Automation design.
