Oak Valley Health is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Unit Secretary for their Plastics Clinic and Minor Surgery Clinic. This role involves receptionist duties such as greeting and registering patients, entering orders, answering calls, and scheduling appointments. The successful candidate will primarily support the Plastics and Minor Surgery Clinics, with occasional assistance in the Fracture Clinic. A Medical Administration Certificate or equivalent, Medical Terminology, and 2-5 years of relevant experience are required, along with strong computer, communication, and customer service skills. Experience with Meditech and Community Wide Scheduling is a plus. This temporary position is expected to last until approximately August 2027, with a work schedule typically falling between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM.

What we are looking for:
The Unit Secretary is a valuable member of the Plastics Clinic and Minor Surgery Clinic team and has a significant impact on the efficient and effective operation of the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for receptionist duties which include: greeting and registering patients, entering x-ray orders, answering phone calls, returning voice messages and scheduling clinic appointments. You will primarily provide support in the Plastics Clinic and Minor Surgery Clinic, as well as the Fracture Clinic as needed.
