The Process Engineer will drive operational excellence projects, optimizing manufacturing performance across departments like extrusion, inside liner, and lithography. This role is responsible for developing and implementing processes to meet quality, cost, and efficiency targets, while troubleshooting production issues. The Process Engineer will also manage projects, maintain safe and efficient systems, monitor improvements through data analysis, and lead cross-functional teams to overcome obstacles. Collaboration and knowledge sharing among production crews and shifts are also key responsibilities. Requires a B.S. in Engineering with 3+ years of manufacturing experience, demonstrated success in process improvements and project management, statistical analysis skills, and familiarity with inspection equipment, lean methodologies, and GD&T.
Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will lead operational excellence projects, from initiation to completion, working closely with all operations departments (extrusion, inside liner, lithography, neckdown, EHS, etc.) to optimize manufacturing performance. The process engineer position is responsible for determining operations to produce products and develops processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. This position troubleshoots problems with production and takes corrective action. This position will report directly to Plant Manager.
