Are you passionate about building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service? We're looking for a motivated and customer focused Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This is full-time permanent position working on-site at our Sheffield site and in return you will receive a competitive salary of £30,000 - £35,000 along with a structured development plan that includes training, mentorship, and clear opportunities for career growth within our organisation. 
 
In this key role, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts by providing outstanding support and service. You’ll thrive in a collaborative environment working alongside a team that shares your enthusiasm for nurturing client relationships and putting the customer first. A problem-solving mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing needs is important, as is being a team player who is organised, driven, and customer obsessed. 
 
You will manage key customer accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention, providing proactive support and resolving queries efficiently. Delivering a cost-effective, best practice service tailored to each account will be essential, along with identifying opportunities for account growth and working closely with internal teams to maintain service excellence. 
  • Effectively manage all expectations in line with achievable operational service levels.
  • Attend customer visits/meetings on and off-site including conference calls
  • Manage stock files and inbound/outbound reports to provide customers with accurate data and real-time stock updates
  • Invoice all processes and materials accurately to an agreed schedule with each customer
  • Updating Operations with clear and accurate processing instructions for all work completed on site
  • Creation of monthly reports detailing the KPI and SLA status
  • Identify and communicate any potential issues internally and be the customer representative onsite. Provide clear and concise processing instructions to internal departments

  • Previous experience within a similar customer facing role and environment
  • Experience of warehousing processes
  • Experience using IT systems to input and extract data with sound working knowledge of Excel
  • Preferable experience of WMS solutions
  • 3PL experience where possible
