Responsibilities: * Works on tasks that are routine in nature * Receives general instruction on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments * Identifies deviations from accepted practices * Troubleshoots basic problems * Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process * Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings * Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. * Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required * May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. * Basic understanding of digital/AI tools * Willingness to adopt AI in daily work (Copilot, internal AI tools) * Ability to use AI tools to: Retrieve technical information and Support troubleshooting Educational requirements: * Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Job Profile(s): Equip Maint Technician 1 Relocation level: (TBD) Before Getting Started Please review Micron’s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs.
