The Role
As Sr. Director, Legal Innovation (Corporate Legal), you'll be a senior voice for Legora in the corporate and in-house legal community — representing the company in the field, advising legal departments on how to adopt AI well, and helping shape where the business of in-house legal is going. The role pairs public thought leadership (panels, forums, published analysis) with substantive project work, including building practical ROI frameworks for in-house legal teams alongside our Value Engineering function. It's a high-visibility, build-it role for someone with a strong point of view on the future of corporate legal.
What You’ll Do
- Represent Legora across panels, industry forums, and the legal-innovation community, with a focus on in-house and corporate legal teams.
- Advise customers' innovation and knowledge teams on AI transformation — strategy, rollout, AI policy, and measures of success.
- Partner closely with the VP of Legal Innovation & Strategy and serve as a senior Legora voice across speaking, content, and executive advisory.
- Own special projects — most immediately, partnering with Value Engineering to build out ROI frameworks for in-house legal teams.
- Publish analysis that moves the market narrative.
What You Bring
- 7+ years in a legal-innovation, legal-operations, outside-counsel-management, knowledge, or strategy role at a corporate legal team, top law firm, or legal-tech company.
- Genuine fluency in how legal organizations operate and make decisions — the economics and psychology of legal leadership, not just the tooling.
- Executive presence with GCs, CLOs, CIOs, and innovation leaders, and the ability to translate across legal, business, and technical audiences.
- A strong, demonstrated public point of view — through writing and conference speaking.
