Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound sales calls and inquiries from Dutch-speaking guests looking to book stays at hotels and resorts, delivering an exceptional customer journey from first contact to confirmed reservation.
- Present, promote, and upsell hotel packages, room categories, special offers, and resort amenities to maximise revenue and enhance the guest experience.
- Process hotel reservation bookings accurately using internal reservation management systems, ensuring all guest details and preferences are correctly recorded.
- Respond to Dutch-speaking customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat regarding room availability, pricing, cancellation policies, and resort facilities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell additional services such as spa treatments, dining experiences, airport transfers, and exclusive resort packages.
- Manage booking modifications, cancellations, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency, always prioritising guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the wider reservations and hospitality sales team to meet and exceed monthly targets and key performance indicators.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of all hotel and resort properties, seasonal promotions, and loyalty programmes to confidently advise guests.
- Native or fluent Dutch language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role — all Dutch-speaking interactions with guests must be handled at a professional and confident level.
- Valid EU passport (mandatory requirement for relocation and employment eligibility).
- Previous experience in sales, hotel reservations, travel, or a customer-facing hospitality role is highly advantageous.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to confidently upsell and promote hotel and resort products and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences in the Hotels & Resorts sector.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with the wider team and management.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven, fast-paced remote environment with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
