Wise is seeking an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong backend focus to join their Business Pricing team. This role involves building and improving pricing plans and customer experience for businesses using Wise. You will collaborate with product managers, data analysts, and designers, and ideally have 5+ years of experience in Java or Kotlin with Spring framework, relational databases, and distributed systems like Kafka.

We’re looking for an experienced Backend Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our Business Pricing team. This is a unique opportunity to have a massive impact, helping a growing number of businesses around the world join and use Wise to solve their needs.
The Business Pricing team is dedicated to building and helping businesses choose and manage the right account plans for their needs in a way that’s clear, easy, and delightful. You'll lead a team of talented engineers, collaborating daily with product managers, data analysts, and designers to continuously improve the pricing plans, experience for both new and existing customers, making them fairer, more intuitive, attractive and more scalable.
