Team Summary

The Commercial and Money Movement team (CMS) is responsible for managing payment flows/solutions across i) commercial spend (Visa Commercial Solutions), ii) global money movement flows (Visa Direct), and iii) government/public sector undertakings (Visa Government Solutions).

Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) is the core component within CMS, enabling businesses of all sizes to manage, pay and reconcile commercial spend across a broad range of use cases.

In Asia Pacific, CMS Business Planning & Operations (BPO), under AP CMS Strategy, Growth and Operations team, operates as a shared Centre of Excellence (CoE) across CMS, providing scalable business management, planning and execution support across 4 main pillars: Business Management, Sales Planning & Performance, Data & AI and Sales Enablement. The VCS Business Management Senior Manager is aligned to the Business Management pillar and serves as the primary execution and business management partner for VCS business in Asia Pacific.

What a VCS Business Management Senior Manager does at Visa

The primary focus of this role is to own business management and execution discipline for VCS in Asia Pacific. Key day-to-day partner to AP VCS leadership, you will work closely with VCS team in Market Support Center and in-market, in partnership with the AP CMS BPO Director, and Global VCS Business Management team. The role is accountable for driving performance visibility, operating cadence, execution follow-through and cross-functional coordination for VCS. Beyond VCS BU Lead and VCS core teams (e.g., Market Enablement team), you will collaborate closely with AP CMS Strategy, Growth and Operations, and Finance teams.

Projects you will be a part of

You will lead high-impact, region-wide initiatives for VCS, from driving performance visibility (e.g., OKR and key metrics tracking to strengthening operating cadence and execution discipline (e.g., leadership reviews, WFP), working hand-in-hand with VCS leadership as a trusted partner to inform and enable key strategic and operational decisions. You will sit at the center of how VCS operates day-to-day, orchestrating planning (e.g., AOP, multi-year), governance and execution to ensure leadership priorities are translated into clear actions and delivered with right and measurable business impact across markets

Key Responsibilities

Business Performance Management & Insights:

  • Drive ongoing performance management for Visa Commercial Solutions in AP, including tracking of KPIs, scorecards and business metrics
  • Lead preparation of executive-ready materials for VCS and AP leadership and Global stakeholders (monthly updates, VCS leadership reviews, QBR)
  • Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making for VCS leadership
  • Partner with Finance and CMS BPO teams to ensure performance insights are accurate, consistent and decision-useful

Business Planning & Resource Alignment:

  • Coordinate annual and multi-year planning processes and operating cadence for VCS in AP, consolidating inputs across markets
  • Drive structured tracking against plans to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines and deliverables
  • Support workforce planning (WFP) by coordinating inputs on capacity, prioritization and resource alignment
  • Ensure VCS operates with consistent, disciplined cadence aligned with CMS-wide standards

Operating Cadence, Governance & Execution:

  • Act as a connective layer between VCS leadership, AP CMS BPO and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Own end-to-end governance routines and leadership touchpoints, ensuring agendas, materials, decisions and actions are structured, tracked and executed
  • Run core operating rhythms for VCS, including leadership reviews and touchpoints and drive structured follow-up with stakeholders
  • Support revenue realization for priority VCS deals by tracking post-signature execution and surfacing blockers

Note: Sales enablement, sales performance and planning (e.g., AANR targets, SIP, pipeline management) are owned by dedicated pillars within CMS BPO Center of Excellence. This role will support and ensure alignment and execution through collaboration with other Center of Excellence pillars.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need

We are looking for a structured, analytically strong and execution-oriented manager. As a candidate you should have:

  • 10 years of experience at least in business management, commercial operations, business planning, consulting or strategy-adjacent roles
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, concise insights
  • Strong experience running operating cadence, performance management and senior leadership reporting
  • Ability to partner credibly with senior business, sales and functional leaders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing materials for senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel
  • Comfort working in a matrixed, regional environment with diverse stakeholders

  • Experience in commercial payments, B2B financial services or transaction-based businesses
  • Exposure to Asia Pacific regional roles or complex market environments
  • Familiarity with planning cycles, performance management frameworks and governance processes
