Role Description
- GTI has articulated a bold new vision and strategy to simplify, rationalise and rebalance the estate to reduce risk and optimise cost. This strategy includes the transformation of its Hosting services to a simplified and modernised Hybrid Cloud (Private + Public) target state wherein applications will be hosted on the optimal environment / platforms to balance business value, financial costs and operational risk. This Key Deliverable will execute the Hosting services aspect of the GTI Strategy

Your key responsibilities
- Strategic Transition Execution: Drive the end-to-end execution of the Service Transition Plan for a designated service domain (e.g., Compute, Storage, Database, Data Centre), translating high-level transition designs into granular, executable plans with clearly defined milestones, interdependencies, and robust readiness gates.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Orchestrate and coordinate complex transition activities across diverse stakeholders including RTB teams, DXC, external vendors, and central functional units, fostering a collaborative and outcome-oriented environment.
- Operational Readiness & Assurance: Proactively validate and assure operational readiness across all critical dimensions (people, process, tooling, knowledge transfer) prior to service cutover, minimizing disruption and ensuring seamless transition.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify, track, manage, and escalate risks, issues, actions, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation strategies to safeguard transition objectives.
- Commercial & Legal Support: Provide support for commercial transition activities, including but not limited to novation and asset transfers, collaborating closely with legal and commercial teams.
- Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Prepare and present clear, concise, and timely reporting for senior management and governance forums, providing actionable insights into transition progress, challenges, and risks.
- Governance & Compliance: Ensure stringent adherence to GTI programme governance, reporting standards, and Clarity requirements, upholding best practices in project and service management.
Your skills and experience
- Extensive IT Infrastructure & Transition Expertise: Demonstrable strong experience in IT infrastructure services, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale service transitions or vendor exits within a complex enterprise environment.
- Deep Hosting Services Knowledge: Solid understanding of core Hosting services, encompassing Compute, Storage, Databases, and Data Centre operations.
- Regulated Environment Experience: Proven experience operating effectively within complex, highly regulated financial services environments, with a strong appreciation for compliance and control frameworks.
- Robust Project/Programme Management: Strong project and programme management capabilities, including:
- Expertise in planning and milestone tracking.
- Proficiency in dependency and critical path management.
- Advanced RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) management and escalation.
- Skill in structured status reporting and executive summaries.
- Hands-on Delivery Tooling Proficiency: Practical, hands-on delivery skills utilising:
- Excel: Advanced proficiency for planning, tracking, and readiness assessments.
- Jira: Experience managing activities, risks, and dependencies.
- Confluence: Proven ability to create and manage documentation and transition artefacts.
- Clarity: Familiarity with Clarity for project tracking and reporting.
