BJAK is seeking experienced Backend Software Engineers to join their Finance Super App team in Malaysia. You will build and scale core systems, APIs, and infrastructure for products like insurance, payments, and investing. This hybrid role requires a strong foundation in backend engineering, API design, databases, and system design, with at least 3 years of experience. You will collaborate with product and mobile teams to deliver customer-facing features and improve system reliability and security. Experience in fintech is a plus.

We are looking for backend engineers to build the core systems behind BJAK's finance super app.
This role is for engineers who can build reliable APIs, workflows and financial product infrastructure that can scale across markets, partners and millions of users.
This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.
