Tulip Interfaces is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their EMEA Sales organization in Munich, Germany. This role involves co-owning a target account list with an Account Executive, building relationships with senior operations and engineering leaders, and driving pipeline generation for AI-native software in manufacturing. The position requires 1-3+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, fluency in German and English, and familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce. This is a hybrid role with a path to an Account Executive position.
***This role is located in Munich, Germany - We are a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days/per week***
Tulip brings modern technology and AI into manufacturing. Manufacturing accounts for almost 20% of the global economy and one in every seven workers on Earth, yet remains among the least digitized. More than a decade ago, we created the category to close that gap: AI-native software that puts cutting-edge tools directly in the hands of the people on the manufacturing front lines. Because we are human-centered and tech-obsessed, we are building a future of work where human ingenuity is amplified with the latest technology.
In January 2026 we became one of Boston's few new AI unicorns, reaching a $1.3B valuation. We're growing double digits in revenue year over year. The world's best manufacturers run on Tulip - turning inventory 10x faster, releasing gene therapies in hours instead of weeks, and training master craftspeople to forge engagement rings 5x more rapidly. Headquartered in Somerville, MA with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Japan, and Israel, we've been consistently named a World Economic Forum Global Innovator, a Gartner leader, and one of Built In Boston's "Best Places to Work."
We run the way we build: AI-forward, humanistic, and high ownership. We're looking for builders who are energized by complex problems, rapid cycles, and the unique opportunity to see their impact on a global scale.
About the Role:
Tulip is scaling its EMEA Sales organization, and this BDR will join a sales pod in Munich, co-owning a target account list across DACH and broader EMEA alongside an Account Executive. This isn't a lead-handoff role - you'll stay connected to accounts from first touch through advanced stages, building real relationships with senior operations and engineering leaders. Tulip's platform is used by companies like AstraZeneca, Cartier, and Stanley Black and Decker to digitize shop floor operations, replace paper-based quality processes, and build composable MES solutions without code. The buyers you'll be talking to are plant managers, VPs of Quality, and Operations Directors - people solving real problems in complex environments, and you'll need to understand their world well enough to earn the conversation.
About You:
You have a background in sales, business development, or operations, and you're ready to build a career on the commercial side of industrial tech. You're drawn to substantive conversations with senior operations and engineering leaders, energized by results rather than activity metrics, and curious about how manufacturers actually buy and implement new technology. This role builds on the foundation you've already started: you'll bring your account ownership instincts and technical curiosity, take on more of the account relationship, and within 24 months develop the foundation in enterprise sales with a path to an Account Executive role.
