Salesforce is seeking a Business Planning Manager for its Professional Services division within the Customer Success Group (CSG) in Japan. This role will partner with department leadership to drive strategic initiatives, market analysis, organizational optimization, and operational improvements. Responsibilities include developing mid-to-long term strategies and annual plans, creating executive reports, defining and tracking KPIs, and planning business reviews. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively with various internal teams, including global CSG, Sales Strategy, Finance, and HR. Business level English proficiency is required.

Services Business Planning ManagerはCSGのプロフェッショナルサービス部門に所属しています。プロフェッショナルサービス部門では、Salesforce製品を利用されるお客様の計画立案、設計、実装、運用支援などの各種コンサルティングを提供しています。
このロールは、プロフェッショナルサービス部門の成長を支える重要な役割を担います。部門リーダーのビジネスパートナーとして、市場分析、組織最適化、オペレーション改善など戦略的示唆の提示から部門運営の実務まで幅広く推進することが求められます。
具体的には、営業戦略部門と共同での中長期戦略立案・年間計画の策定、エグゼクティブ向けの分析・提言レポートの作成、KPIの定義・集計・報告、ビジネスレビューや部門全体会議の企画・運営、オペレーション改善に向けた資料整備など、戦略から実行まで一貫して担います。このロールには、高度な分析・提言にとどまらず、自ら率先して現場のオペレーション改善や資料作成・データ集計などの実務に手を動かし、成果に責任を持てる姿勢が不可欠です。社内の様々な組織との連携およびエグゼクティブとのコミュニケーションも要求されます。
このロールの成功は、CSGサービス部門の受注、売上、利益率および顧客満足度によって測られます。サービス部門の成長プランの策定や戦略的イニシアティブの推進、部門パフォーマンスの財務・事業両面での測定・分析と示唆の提示などが主な戦略的アウトプットです。
業務上は、ビジネス拡大に向けた施策の立案と実行を通じて、サービス部門リーダーにとって信頼に足るアドバイザーとしての立ち位置を確立することが求められます。分析や洞察の提示にとどまらず、自らオペレーション改善や施策の実行を推進することでビジネスに実質的な変革をもたらし、戦略の立案から現場レベルの実務まで一貫して成果に責任を持つ実行力が不可欠です。
候補者は、部門内だけではなくグローバルCSG組織、営業戦略部門、財務、採用、人事、部門オペレーション担当者と密接に協業することが求められます。
