Team Overview
The Platform Assoc Engineer will be responsible for Development, debugging, validating and supporting Platform software services/products. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Detailed understanding of platform components like Infrastructure, SDLC tool chain, Data management and security aspects.
· Development experience with Enterprise software products and SDLC lifecycle.
· Thorough understanding of the DevOps, DevSecOps and pipeline implementations.
· Strong understanding of Infrastructure technologies On Prem and Cloud hosted.
· Experience with IaC technologies like Ansible, Salt, Chef and Terraform.
· Understanding of and working experience SaC (Security as Code)
· Working experience with at least one programming language, Python, Go, Java, C, C++.
· Strong understanding of Data management technologies, experience with at least one of the SQL and NOSQL products.
· Big Data experience, Hadoop and understanding of MapReduce. Analytics understanding and working experience is a plus.
· Understanding and working experience of Web protocols, Web Services and REST APIs.
· 3-tier Application Architecture understanding and design experience for at least one enterprise application end-to-end.
· Detailed understanding of cloud security and cloud infrastructure services
· Thorough understanding of the SRE practices and working experience with at least one of the observability stacks (Monitoring, logging, Visualization).
Required Knowledge And Experiences
4-year degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
· Strong collaboration and communication skills
· Strong execution and implementation ability
· Exemplary leadership skills
· Proven ability to manage and deliver complex code
