Role: Specialist, Translations
The Translations PMO is responsible for end to end translation lifecycle management across Mastercard Academy learning products — ensuring all content is accurately localised, consistently maintained, AI ready, and operationally deployed at scale across markets.
The focus is not on content creation or translation itself, but on ensuring content flows efficiently from source creation → localisation → deployment, with strong governance, consistency, and readiness for future AI driven delivery.

Scope of Responsibility
Translation Inventory & Governance
• Own and maintain a centralised translation inventory
Ensure all translated content is:
• Properly versioned across languages
• Clearly mapped to learning objectives and pathways
• Consistently tracked across markets and platforms
• Easily discoverable and reusable

SME & Translation Coordination
• Coordinate with internal SMEs and localisation partners to:
o Secure availability, alignment, and timely inputs
o Ensure accurate translation and validation across languages
• Manage the translation workflow pipeline:
o Source content → translation → validation → deployment
• Proactively track dependencies and remove bottlenecks to ensure on time delivery across markets

Platform Operations & Deployment
• Manage operational deployment of translated content across platforms, including:
o Uploading and maintaining multilingual content
o Configuring language versions of certification pathways and courses
• Coordinate content updates, refresh cycles, and version alignment across all languages

Customer & Product Advocacy
• Be a passionate advocate of the product and learning experience vision, ensuring localisation supports consistency and quality across markets
• Act as the voice of the customer (regional issuers / markets) throughout the localisation lifecycle — ensuring content remains relevant, usable, and contextually appropriate


About You
• Experience managing global stakeholders, and executing multi-stakeholder projects
• Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects in cross-functional environment.
• Ability to communicate needs and schedules to business stakeholders and
technology teams, as well as ensure plans are in place/standards are
adhered to
• Position will require a level of confidence to hold the line with internal teams to provide the highest level of advocacy for the projects.
• Understanding of and interest in learning design and learning processes
• (optional) Knowledge of payment technology and finance topics
• Excellent communications skills, attention to details and confidence to take
'command and control' of project delivery from initiation to production
• Presentation & office tools proficiency required
