We are hiring a Shipping Clerk to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for drivers and warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate load preparation, shipping documentation, and timely outbound operations.
Shift Time: 9AM - 6PM, Monday to Friday
In This Role
- Coordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate
- Prepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, packing lists, and delivery documents
- Build and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operations
- Verify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination information
- Communicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and execution
- Maintain accurate shipping records and update system information as needed
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support inventory and shipping audits as required
- Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures

The Ideal Person
- 1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperwork
- Strong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours
