Employee Relations Specialist

The Role:

The Employee Relations (ER) Specialist is responsible for supporting INIZIO’s processes, policies, and strategy across ER. You will act as a liaison between legal and business matters to act as a risk mitigation arm of HR, supporting ER policy creation, driving consistency across case outcomes, and providing a system-wide approach and guidance. You will partner with key stakeholders to enhance employee experience with system-wide ER practices and to define the ER scope of services.

You will report to the Global Employee Relations Lead. This is a remote-working role (you are welcome to work from one of our office locations). Time zones are flexible, so long as business needs are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the ER strategy and approach at a global, organization-wide level.
  • Support the ER business process needed to run an equitable and clear ER process.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to develop strategies to respond to team member concerns and infuse ER into broader company practices.
  • Support employee relations best practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to identify and address potential employee relations issues and develop preventive measures.
  • Assist managers and supervisors in understanding and implementing policies and procedures for managing their employees.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and comply with reporting requirements.
  • Support administrative functions regarding inputting data, creating letters, scripts, transcribing meeting notes, creating PowerPoint presentations, etc.
  • Support meeting with management to better understand needs and concerns relating to requests they have submitted to the Employee Relations team.
  • Conduct investigations.
  • Support performance improvement processes and review performance improvement documents provided by management.

What you bring to the role:

  • 3 years of experience supporting employee relations functions
  • In-depth knowledge of human resources and employee relations principles, practices, and procedures in the US and UK​.
  • Experience using data to guide decision-making.
  • Experience with performance management and employee relations processes.
  • Experience promoting a vision and translating it into an executable strategy.
  • Able to interact and lead at a strategic level​.
  • Ability to work across multiple businesses and team members.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
