We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Visceral Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role involves providing advanced surgical care for complex abdominal and visceral conditions, including elective and emergency procedures. The Consultant will lead surgical decision-making, ensure high-quality patient outcomes, and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical excellence within a modern tertiary care environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead diagnosis and surgical management of complex visceral and abdominal conditions.
- Perform advanced elective and emergency surgeries (open and laparoscopic).
- Manage hepatobiliary, gastrointestinal, pancreatic, and related surgical cases.
- Oversee pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care pathways.
- Provide leadership in trauma and acute surgical emergencies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (GI, oncology, ICU, radiology, anesthesia).
- Participate in clinical governance, audits, and M&M meetings.
- Ensure compliance with international clinical standards and hospital protocols.
- Mentor junior surgeons and contribute to training and supervision.
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification in General/Visceral Surgery (FRCS, Board Certification, CCT, Arab Board, or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience
- Strong expertise in complex abdominal and minimally invasive surgery.
- Leadership and multidisciplinary team management skills.
