Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

About the Role

We're hiring a Decorator for our upcoming Paradise Valley location, opening Fall 2026. You'll join the team ahead of opening to train, ramp up, and help establish the quality and presentation standards that will define our guest experience from day one.
All baked goods are produced at our Phoenix production warehouse and delivered to Paradise Valley — your role is to finish and present every product to the highest standard before it reaches our guests. Working closely with the Lead Decorator, you'll bring skill, consistency, and care to everything that comes off your station.
Responsibilities
Pre-Opening
- Complete onboarding, training, and ramp-up prior to location opening
- Learn Too Sweet Cakes' decoration standards, product specifications, and brand presentation guidelines
- Assist with decoration station setup and operational readiness under the direction of the Lead Decorator
- Participate in team training and product preparation practice ahead of grand opening
Decoration & Craftsmanship
- Decorate baked goods and cakes to Too Sweet Cakes' standards under the direction of the Lead Decorator
- Maintain consistency in technique, presentation, and product appearance throughout every shift
- Adapt to daily product mix, volume demands, and custom or seasonal specifications
- Take pride in the quality of every product that leaves your station — the details matter
Quality & Standards
- Inspect your own work before products move to the floor
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures throughout the decoration area
- Communicate any quality concerns or product discrepancies to the Lead Decorator promptly
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout your shift
Operations
- Follow established procedures for mid-day station setup and end-of-shift closedown
- Support smooth product flow between incoming Phoenix warehouse deliveries and the FOH floor
- Assist the Lead Decorator with inventory organization, restocking, and product readiness as needed
- 1–3 years of professional decorating experience — cakes, pastries, or baked goods in a bakery or production environment
- Genuine eye for detail and a personal commitment to quality and craftsmanship
- Comfortable working at volume without sacrificing consistency
- Able to take direction well and work effectively within a team
- Afternoon/evening availability required; shift runs 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Must be at least 18 years old
