As a Senior IT Support Advisor at Desjardins Technology Group, you will provide comprehensive user support for IT applications, including installation, configuration, issue resolution, and incident management. You will also be responsible for server administration, leading development projects, and contributing to strategic IT initiatives. This role requires strong analytical skills, interpersonal savvy, and the ability to act as an expert advisor to senior management and decision-making bodies. Key responsibilities include leading cross-organizational projects, advising clients on strategic initiatives, identifying and resolving major issues, and representing the unit before management committees.
As a senior IT support advisor, you provide user support and assistance for IT applications, including installation, configuration, best practices, issue resolution, service request management, and IT and technical incident management. You help keep IT equipment up and running, particularly through server administration. You lead and influence development projects and complex, highly innovative strategic initiatives involving multiple sectors. You help develop and recommend strategic directions and business positions. Your initiatives require extensive knowledge of your field. You make recommendations on the planning and execution of operationally and conceptually complex projects and initiatives that require comprehensive analysis and understanding of the organization and line of business. Coordination is critical, so you interact with stakeholders working in a wide range of other fields. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as resource person and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies. More specifically, you will be required to:
